Our Fellowship
We are independent and non-denominational, affiliated with about 1800 other independent fellowships in the Calvary Chapel movement.
Our gatherings have much in common with many other evangelical churches. We worship in song and prayer, and teach the Word of God. During the teaching time, the children are given opportunity to participate in a separate Children’s Ministry time.
We do not have formal membership, believing that all who are truly Christians are members of the body of Christ. Members are, therefore, anyone who meets regularly with us and sees themselves as part of our church family.
We baptize, by immersion, upon the confession of faith that Jesus is Lord and the individual has placed his/her faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism is an act of obedience to Jesus Christ, and a first step in the process of following Jesus as Lord.
Communion is open to all who know Jesus as Lord and Savior. It is a memorial of what Christ has done for every believer. It should be taken with the understanding that the bread represents the body of Jesus, and the cup (juice) represents His blood.
Mid-week Bible Study is available to all who desire further fellowship and encouragement for their Christian life. The typical pattern for Small Groups is the study of a Biblical book or a Christian book or Video series, accompanied by discussion, prayer and fellowship.
